Will You Be My Bridesmaid?

Rich purples with teal accents hint at this brides glamorous wedding decor inspired by peacock feathers. The lucky recipients of these cookies are sure to be honored to be a part of this special day. These fondant covered sugar cookies were wrapped in cello bags and placed in 5" x 7" custom wrapped boxes with clear lids, tied with satin ribbon and embellished with beads. Cookies for the flower girl and ring bearer were ordered to coordinate with the bridesmaid dresses. Cookies as shown with box, ribbon and card-stock tag: $10.00 ea.

These were my cookies and I could not be happier with them. EVERYONE raved about how beautiful they came out. RedBud went above and beyond my expectations!!!

Unfortunately I am not taking new orders at this time. I am in the process of moving. Once I have a kitchen up and running again I will update my contact information.

Let me know what design you have in mind, what type of event you are planning, and the date of your event. Currently cookies are available for free delivery in the Columbus OH area. Each cookie is baked and hand decorated in a home kitchen environment, therefore capacity is limited - place your order early to reserve your preferred finish date. Great care is taken to deliver the freshest cookies possible, however no preservatives are used so cookies should be consumed within a week of delivery for best taste. Please feel free to contact me with any questions, and if you see the cookies I have made for your event on this website I'd love to have your comments on the posting!

Q. What is the average price per cookie favor?

A. Cookies range from $3.50 to $7.00 per cookie, with the average price being $5.00. Cost depends on the complexity of the design, and to a small degree the choice of packaging. All cookies are individually wrapped and tied with ribbon or rafia. Favor tags, gift boxes, cards, and bouquet arrangements may affect the final cost.

Q. Is there a minimum order size?

A. 12 cookies is usually the minimum order, although if I have other orders going at the time I may be able to accommodate a smaller order, so please don't hesitate to ask!

Q. Do you ship outside of Ohio?

A. Unfortunately, not at this time. Being a home based bakery I am precluded from shipping outside of Ohio. Other states may have different laws, but here in Ohio you have to have a commercial kitchen that is not in a residence in order to legally fullfill orders outside of Ohio. I hope to someday expand to a commercial bakery! For now though, my customer base is mostly in central Ohio.

Q. How large are the cookies?

A. Most cookies end up being about 4 inches at the widest point. I make a majority of my own cookie cutters, so the size can be customized easily.

Q. What are the ingredients in the cookies?

A. The cookies are mixed and baked fresh to order using flour, sugar, eggs, vanilla, baking powder, salt and of course, real butter. The royal icing is made with powdered egg whites (for safety) and sugar. In addition, colored sugar, dragees, fondant, molding chocolate, candy, edible glitters and pearl dusts may be utilized for decoration.
